This great poster sporting Big Mama Thornton (WHERE did she get that awful dress??) is unsigned and very rare, but I'm confident it's by Wes Wilson.

This poster was in Funky Sam's famous bedroom. He once bet us he could bed three new chicks a day for a full month. Jack and I eagerly took him up on it....and we lost!

Sam would just walk down Haight street and pick up the girls like they were waiting for something to happen. He was never gone more the 15 minutes. You had to be there...it was simply an amazing time and an indescribable atmosphere (but I'm gonna do the impossible and describe it in The Book of Haight!).

This poster is acquiring a fine, darkening patina around the edges. It's a bit wrinkled as you can see, and has staple holes in the corners. The wrinkles will flatten out when mounted. Very good condition.
