This captivating
poster by Wes Wilson was quite radical, mechanically, for its
time. It mimics the "blended, or split fountain" technique
where the pressman spreads various colors across the "ink
fountain" so you get a kind of rainbow effect. Except this
wan't done that way. And as experienced as I am with printing
techniques, I can't figure out how this thing was put together
because it isn't made from a color separation....it's all mechanical.
Fascinating,
colorful piece in perfect condition.

But the effect
is very unusual.
