This is a real
pyschedelic vision by Wes Wilson...a superb piece of work.
I went to this
concert to see The Doors for the first time. Jim Morrison was
amazing on stage, but ended up passing out into the audience in
the middle of the last number. He must have put a way a quart
of booze.
You never knew
with Jim...a Doors gig was always electric with anticipation of
what he was, or was not going to do.
I walked into
Gorilla Records (or was it Banana Records?) in North Beach and
heard The Doors for the very first time on the PA system. Everyone
who walked in the store asked who it was and bought the record,
a rapidly disappearing stack of which were by the till.
I think "The
End" is one of the most haunting tracks ever recorded and
a great lyrical masterpiece by this artistic genius. Tatty at
the corners, this poster is in excellent/perfect condition.
