FD 2-2

14" x 20" 1966

The second poster from the Family Dog...very early days and very rare, of course. This one is unsigned, but I'll bet it was Stanley Mouse. Notice the very beginning of swirly lettering in the upper right hand corner. Also notice that "Quicksilver" is split into two words...they were a fairly new band who had been playing local gigs (California Ballroom) since the previous year (thanks, Mark Hazell).

Note that the early Family Dog events were held at the Fillmore as well, which when my dad grew up in the Haight/Ashbury was called the Majestic Ballroom.

This rare, historical poster is in perfect condition.
