This great
early effort by Kelly-Mouse stopped me from across the street
as I walked down Haight one sunny afternoon to eat at the cafe
on the northeast corner of Haight and Ashbury.
Notice how
they mispelled (on purpose, maybe?) "Greatful" instead
of "Grateful."
Also, I've
seen Kelly's name spelled both ways: Kelly, and Kelley. Were these
guys stoned, or what?
Ah! I just
spoke with Stanley Mouse and asked him about this, and he said
that Kelly didn't mind how his name was spelled...and eventually,
Stanley created the last Avalon poster in my series (the motorcycle
one) and spelled Kelly's name like the tire on the motorcycle.
Staple holes
in the corners, otherwise perfect condition.
